1.To subcool the liquid to prevent flash gas in the liquid line improving expansion valve operation.

2.To evaporate any refrigerant droplets in the vapor channel to prevent possible compressor damage.

3.To increase evaporator capacity and overall refrigeration system performance by subcooling the hot liquid refrigerant.

Straight line type Features:

1)Multi-spiral structure of inner tube imparts turbulent state to both liquid and vapor refrigerant which greatly enhance heat transfer between two fluids.

2)Fluted inner tube design controls pressure drop and gas velocity for quiet operation.

3)Inner tube made of a whole straight copper tube gives a well welding reliability to heat exchanger.

Trombone type Features:

1)Long channel provides high subcooling to improve expansion valve operation

2)Variable inner tube construction is avaibable with twisted and smooth type.
